TOMC will be exhibiting at this year's annual ASLRRA convention at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. Please stop by our booth to visit. 09/03/2009 If you were not aware, the deadline for having a Noise Monitoring Program in place, per 49 CFR Part 227, was August 26 for Class III railroads. TOMC has been performing noise monitoring services for members on an ongoing basis since June of this year. You may read more about TOMC, our services and 49 CFR Part 227 on ASLRRA's web site, and in their Views and News newsletters. 03/16/2009 TOMC will be exhibiting at the ASLRRA Annual Conference in Las Vegas on April 25-28th, at booth 303. We will also debut the online portion of our services at this time. 02/11/2009 To our members: TOMC has received our noise dosimeters, and we will begin our noise monitoring services soon. Check here for news in the coming weeks, as we will be launching the Web-based portion of our services very soon. 11/03/2008 TOMC attended the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association's 2008 Regional Meetings in Charlotte, NC, New Orleans, LA, and Williamsburg, VA, where one of our founding doctors, Dr. Timothy McCormick, spoke on the hearing regulation and TOMC's support services for 49 CFR Part 227. TOMC will also have a booth at next year's ASLRRA Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV, at the Red Rock Resort & Casino. 08/01/2008 We have updated our site to include a more detailed, in-depth page on the requirements of 49 CFR Part 227, as well as the services that TOMC will provide to assist our clients. TOMC exhibited at the ASLRRA Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas, from May 4-6th. The primary focus was on 49 CFR Parts 227 and 229 regarding locomotive cab noise exposure, but we also had various models of Pro Ears hearing protectors on display, and discussed ways TOMC and our partners can help railroads with Post Offer Employment Testing, Agility Testing, and more. We plan on exhibiting at next year's ASLRRA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
