Hearing Program Management (49 CFR Part 227)
Providing support services for Part 227 is our company's primary focus. The regulation is complex, and may be costly for short line railroads to comply with independently.

- We offer a railroad hearing conservation program to for federal regulation 49 CFR Part 227.
- We've taken a consortium approach to this project; by pooling resources, such as locomotive noise data, we are better able to meet small-client needs at an affordable cost. This is similar to how Class I railroads conduct their own noise monitoring.
- We offer a Web-based hearing and noise training program for railroad employees.

Chief Medical Officers
- TOMC will also provide services to the railroads to help them comply with an upcoming FRA employee wellness regulation (not yet named or numbered), which will require railroads to have a Chief Medical Officer.
