Dr. Timothy J. McCormick, DO, MPH - President
Dr. Timothy McCormick is a board-certified occupational medicine
physician. He has practiced in the military, clinical settings and in
the corporate setting, and has been involved in the transportation
industry for most of his career. He has been with the railroad industry
for the past 15 years, where he has been the medical director for a class one
railroad, and is currently a consultant / senior medical advisor to
Union Pacific. He has been involved with the short lines for the past
eight years as a examiner and chief medical officer for RailAmerica.
Dr. McCormick chairs the AAR's medical section and has been actively involved in
the FRA's Medical Standards Working Groups and the FRA's Doctors Task
Force. In 2007, he formed Transportation Occupational Medicine
Consultants, Inc., focused on serving the short line industry starting
with the noise and hearing conservation programs of 49 CFR Part 227. He has been a strong supporter of ASLRRA and has greatly enjoyed
working with the shortline railroad industry.
E. Randolph Soo Hoo, MD, MPH, FACOEM - Vice-President
Dr. Randolph (Randy) Soo Hoo received his medical degree from the University of Arizona and his Masters in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine. He is board certified in Occupational Medicine, Certified Independent Medical Examiner by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and Certified Medical Review Officer by the American Association of Medical Review officers. He was the Chief Medical Consultant for the last 10 years of his 19 years as a medical consultant for the Arizona Disability Determination Service Administration. During this time, SSA frequently consulted him regarding issues related to Functional Capacity Assessments in the disability adjudicative practice.
Since leaving DDSA, Dr. Soo Hoo has established a Function Based Medicine practice and is performing Independent Medical Evaluations and disability. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Soo Hoo is the Associate Medical Director for a major transportation carrier and serves as a Functional Capacity Medical Review Officer for a variety of industries. Dr. Soo Hoo routinely lectures nationally and internationally on principles of Function Based Medicine.
Bill Weedmark, BA, COHC - Operations Manager
Bill Weedmark received his bachelor's degree in Communication from Flagler College, and is certified by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) as an Occuptational Hearing Conservationist. He has been with TOMC since 2007 and worked to establish the hearing conservation aspect of TOMC's services. His duties include oversight of the Part 227 hearing conservation program, audiogram review and performing locomotive cab noise monitoring throughout the country.
Kelly McCormick, BFA, CMRO-A - Drug Program Manager
Kelly is the Drug Program Manager for TOMC. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with her degree in Animation. She is a certified Medical Review Officer Assistant, and has worked in the clinic setting assisting with drug collections and program management. She has worked to develop the drug testing program and MRO services aspects of TOMC, and interfaces with our partners at Psychemedics regularly.
