Transportation Occupational Medicine Consultants, Inc (TOMC) is the practice of Timothy J. McCormick, DO, MPH. Our focus is on occupational medicine services in the rail industry, and aviation medical services as an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).

Aviation Medicine
Dr. McCormick is residency trained and board-certified in Aerospace Medicine. He is an FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner who provides all classes of evaluation, and with his specialty training he supports airmen with complex issues that other AME’s shun.
Aviation Background
Dr. McCormick is a true flight surgeon and retired as a Colonel after serving in the US Air Force and Air National Guard. He held the rating of Chief Flight Surgeon. His military background and experience brings a unique perspective to assisting pilots with the AME process.
Rail Medical Services
Dr. McCormick is the most experienced physician in the US rail industry. TOMC’s experience includes work in-house at class-1 US railroads, as well as working with short line, regional railroads, and passenger service.
